项目概况
It is the need of the times for the leadership team of China University Leadership Research Group to engage in the study of university presidents. Chinese higher education in the early years of the new century is facing a special development situation. University presidents shoulder the important mission of using old cloth and carrying forward the past. The reform and innovation of higher education put forward new challenges to the leadership of the university presidents. The development of the university and the construction of culture set a new test for the leadership of the university presidents. The core of the university The purpose and significance of this study are put forward from the perspectives of four major issues of creating new competencies of university presidents through competitiveness building. For a long time, the society as a whole has a high degree of concern for higher education. However, it seems that there is a lack of special thinking and research on the special group of university presidents who are concerned with the fate of universities. This article strives to make some research and advance in this field.
Starting from the proposition of the leadership of contemporary university presidents, through the literature research, the author draws lessons from the representative research results of leadership theory both at home and abroad, examines the formation mechanism of university presidents' leadership and related factors and their functions. Through the empirical research on the leadership of contemporary university presidents, this paper puts forward the basic composition framework of contemporary university presidential leadership theories with the characteristics of the times. On the basis of this, it puts forward some concrete suggestions on how to elevate the leadership of contemporary university presidents in light of China's national conditions.
Has completed and is undertaking more than 40 national research projects, published more than 230 papers at home and abroad, the development of national standards 9, edited eight books. The research results have been communicated in many international and domestic conferences and have a broader impact.
